Halloween Creatures 2.0 Book Tag

It’s Halloween! The spooky season has been upon us and the best day has arrived. So, I have decided to do a nice Halloween book tag! I found this on Zezee’s blog! I’m very excited for this tag.

A Magical Character or Book.

The Backstagers is the cutest graphic novel and I love it so much. There is so much magic and whimsy. The characters may not be magical but the world absolutely is… I mean, portal magic anyone?

The Perfect Book to Read at Night.

I haven’t read much of this, but reading short-ish horror stories just feels so perfect to read before bed. But, maybe that’s just me.

A Book that Truly Shocked You.

I recently finished this one and boy did it shock me, in the best way possible! I wont say much more because a review is coming soon, but man. This was a surprising one.

The Devil
A Dark, Evil Character.

Johannes Cabal is the most morally grey character. I mean, he’s probably considered evil by everyone in his universe and I absolutely love him for it. He has no problems with the death and destruction that follows him.

Grim Reaper
A Character that Should Never Have Died.

I don’t think I have a character that I think shouldn’t have died. I am that horrible breed of human that is all for the death of characters in books. Kill them all! (Just kidding, but really a good death is so, so good!)

A Book that Made You “Hungry” for More.

THIS BOOK. I NEED MORE! I mean I loved it and the ending was great, but I still want more from this world. I also just generally want more siren and water horror because of this (So if you have any recommendations let me know!).

A Character that You Would Protect at All Cost.

All these babies! Magnus, Merle, and Taako are by babies and I will cherish and protect them with my life!

A Book that Sucked the Life Out of You.

I did a whole review of this one but man did it drag on! It just wasn’t for me and it definitely felt like it was sucking the life out of me while I was reading it.

A Book that Still Haunts You.

Oooh boy. Am I holding the tea? I may be. Because this did not do it for me. The hype was there and I was so ready for this great amazing thing, but… it wasn’t it. It was just not it for me. The hype still haunts me and I just want to shut my eyes to it. Nope. Sorry. And there’s the tea.

A Book that Really Scared You.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is lrm_export_134988249147660_20191015_1026074074584256367492860680.jpeg

YES I AM USING THIS ONE AGAIN! SUE ME! But, if you read my review of this you will know how I feel about it. THE DREAD! I don’t really get scared by books. I can’t remember the last book that really scared me. However, Into the Drowning Deep gave me that sense of dread and urgency to find out what happens that a lot of books haven’t given me. So yeah, this one.

A Character You Have a Bone to Pick With.

LAURA DEAN! GIRL! I HAVE WORDS FOR YOU! Again, I’m not saying much ’cause spoilers, but this girl needs a talkin’ to.

A Book You Would Preserve Throughout Time.

Song of the Sparrow was my lifeline when I was younger. I’ve read it soo many times! I don’t even know how many times. It was that book that made me cry every time I read it, so… I would absolutely want to preserve this baby.

Creepy Doll
A Cover too Scary to Look At.

I HATE THIS COVER! I hate it! There are so many good covers of this book and this isn’t one! UGH! Just… I hate things with eyeballs and this just gives me the heebie jeebies *shivers*

Happy Halloween Everyone!
