Books I Deleted || Want To Read

Hello friends,

Today I’m here to talk about my Goodreads Want to Read shelf again. So, I had almost 300 books on my Want to Read shelf and it just wasn’t useful anymore. There was no way I was going to get to all of those books and I wasn’t even going to it to pick out books to read/buy/borrow next. So, I decided to go through my list and delete some books. This isn’t to say that I’m never going to pick any of these up, but it means that I’m not dying to read them or buy them so they needed to go. Honestly, I have a whole list of books I want to read that I don’t own, but I wanted it off of Goodreads. So, here are all the books I’ve deleted.

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

So many people have been reading and loving this. It’s been sitting on my TBR for awhile, but I just don’t think I’ll be picking it up anytime soon. It’s not gripping me that much.

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

I know everyone praises this one so much, but I’ve had it on my radar for so long and never picked it up, that I just don’t know if I ever really will at this point.

Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody

This one was on my radar for awhile, but honestly it’s pretty low on my list so, it had to go.

This is Kind of an Epic Love Story by Kheryn Callender

I had initially wanted to read this one, but heard some things that put me off of it a bit. I may pick it up one day, but not anytime soon.

Circe by Madeline Miller

I know, I know. How could I? It’s just been on my list so long and I don’t have a ton of motivation to really pick it up. So, it had to go for now.

Blanca & Roja by Anna-Marie McLemore

This one is still on my radar but I just don’t think I’ll be picking it up any time soon. There are too many books and not enough time.

Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell

I love graphic novels so this one is still on my list, but I’m not going to be picking it up in the near future.

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab

I know, so many people are going to be screaming over this one, but I’m just not that interested? Maybe one day I’ll pick it up, but there are a lot of fantasy books I want to get to soon.

Spellslinger by Sebastien de Castell

I just lost interest in this one, honestly. It could still be cool, but who knows.

Infinity Son by Adam Silvera

I’ve heard a few reviews of this one and it’s just not gripping me.

Should I give any of these a second chance?

Alex
