End of The Year Book Tag

Hello friends,

Today I am back with a tag that I am sure you have seen all over the place! I am pretty sure this was started by Arielle Bessett over on Youtube. So, here we go!

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

The only book that I have started and not finished at the moment is Sabriel by Garth Nix. I tend to be in the middle of a ton of books, but since I have been reading some ARCs lately Sabriel is the only book I am in the middle of.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?

Hmm… this is a tough question. I don’t really read seasonally. I did do a lot of horror reading in October which definitely went well. I think some wintery books I have are Shiang by C.F. Iggulden and The Barren Grounds by David Alexander Robertson

Is there a new release you are still waiting for?

I am going to cheat a little on this one and say Master of One by Jaida Jones and Danielle Bennett. I know it has already come out, but I don’t have a copy yet and I am dying for a copy.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

These two are definitely top priority on my owned TBR and I’d love to get to them before the end of the year. Both have some very different vibes but they are ones I have wanted to read for awhile.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Oh, that’s tough. I have never had one favourite book of the year, but I think Architects of Memory by Karen Osborne could end up on the favourites list. I mean, some creepy space horror with LGBTQ+ rep. What more can I ask for?

Have you already started making reading plans for next year?

Yes! I mean, very minimally, but my main goal is to read the books I own to cut down my TBR and to read diversely.

What books do you want to finish before the end of the year?

Happy reading,
Alex
