Hello friends, I am back with another top ten Tuesday. This weeks theme is books with units of time in the title. This includes books with seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, eternity, etc. in the title Now, it’s pride month and that means that I’m going to work very hard to pick only books with LGBTQIA+ rep or by LGBTQIA+ books.
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Lumberjanes Vol. 12: Jackalope Springs Eternal by Kat Leyh
Lumberjanes is a fun graphic novel series about a group of Girl Scouts at a summer camp surrounded by a magical forest. Vol. 12: Jackalope Springs Eternal is just as fun as all the other volumes!
Names for the Dawn by C.L. Beaumont
Names for the Dawn by C.L. Beaumont is a really heart wrenching and lovely story about love and the struggles of queer adults in the 90s.
Any Day by Brian Lancaster
Any Day by Brian Lancaster was a really fun romance with a hint of mystery. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who likes MM romance.
Dawn’s Light by Shannon Blair
Dawn’s Light is a fantasy book with an enemies to loves story that I actually really enjoyed. It felt realistic for our two characters to start off as enemies and slowly begin to trust each other and grow to like each other. For anyone that likes fantasy romance this is a great MM take on it.
Welcome To Night Vale by Joseph Fink and Jeffery Cranor
Welcome to Night Vale is one of those books that I think has a very niche target audience. If you like weird, creepy books and are a fan of the Welcome to Night Vale podcast then you will likely love this. I loved following all the characters in this story.
The Circus Infinite by Khan Wong
I have yet to read The Circus Infinite, but a sci-fi circus with magic and a crime boss sounds like something that would be really fun and interesting.
Second Time Around by Laura Conway
Second Time Around is a lesbian romance novella about musicians and I can’t wait to read it.
Empress of Forever by Max Gladstone
Empress of Forever is a sci-fi book about a woman catapulted through space and time and will possibly lead a revolution against the Empress at the end of time. I have yet to read this but it sounds so, so good.
This Is How You Lose The Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone
This is How You Lose the Time War is a book that so many people have been raving about the last few years. It’s a sci-fi about two opposing agents of a time war who leave messages to each other and slowly fall in love. I haven’t read this one either but definitely need to soon!
Eight Weeks In Paris by S.R. Lake
This is a romance that takes place on a film set and that’s pretty much all I know about it but it sounds fantastic.
