Incredible Indies – Authors to Follow #4

Hello friends,

I am back today with some more indie authors for you to check out and follow if you’re interested in them! I hope you find some new books and authors to check out!

Adele Rose

Adele Rose lives in the UK and, technically, she is an adult. However, Adele likes to think that she is still a child who is refusing to grow-up and has always loved writing fiction in her “free-time”. Adele particularly enjoys writing Young Adult fiction and her interests include Music (she sings, plays the flute and attempts to play the piano) and watching TV (she has an unhealthy obsession with various TV programmes, including ‘Doctor Who’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘Sherlock’!). Adele holds her family at the centre of all she does and would love to meet as many readers as possible. If you want to say ‘hi’, talk about/review/rate her books or chat about how awesome fandoms are then please subscribe and visit the links at the top and bottom of her website.

Madeline Nixon

I’m an indie author from Canada, working as a editor/researcher until I can author full time. My book is a collection of ghost stories that have happened in my life, but I also write mysteries and romances. Definitely think supporting indies is fabulous because they don’t get as much attention in this space.

I’m Tycho (I also use the pen name Cassidy), and I love storytelling! I’m incredibly passionate about writing, art, and anything that allows me to create my own worlds. My goal is to write dreamy fiction for all ages that is unique, inspiring, and imaginative. I like to write about themes that include coming of age, magic realism, identity, relationships, and bullying. My books are intended for readers ages eight to twenty-five, and are meant to connect the world of the fantastical to everyday life. I currently live in Colorado and just got my MA in Publishing! I currently am writing YA Fantasy Dystopian, but have a 5 book Middle Grade Paranormal series. I also have two free to read books, one NA Fantasy and one YA Sword and Sorcery Fantasy. All info can be found out about them on my website, My newest book is Court of Snakes 🙂

Raegen Pietrucha

Her work has been published in Cimarron Review, Puerto del Sol, and other journals.

I have two published poetry books, and one horror collection. I write prose and poetry, fiction and non-fiction. So far, I’ve been a contributing writer in 58 anthologies, facilitated 2 children’s books, and have work published in 3 languages. My second poetry collection (and third book) released recently. So, a shout out would be really helpful. I’m on Insta @tomes_and_tales.

Shannon A. Thompson

Shannon A. Thompson is a young adult author, avid reader, and a habitual chatterbox. As a novelist, poet, and blogger, Thompson is the best-selling author of the Timely Death trilogy and the Bad Bloods series. When she is not writing, she is climbing rooftops, baking cookies, or watching KDramas in the middle of the night, often done with her cats by her side. Between writing and befriending cats, Thompson graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis on creative writing, and her work has appeared in numerous poetry collections and anthologies. Visit her blog for writers and readers at What I write: If you love paranormal romance, Minutes Before Sunset, book 1 in the Timely Death trilogy, is for you. It has no vampires or werewolves, and it’s based on Midwest folklore! If you’re looking for a dystopian fantasy, you should check out my Bad Bloods series. It’s sort of like X-Men, but much darker.
