Hello friends,

Over the past two years I have fallen hard and fast for indie books. I have discovered a few things about my reading in the past few years. For starters I have found that my reading taste can be a bit niche, which means that I haven’t found a lot of heavily marketed and popular books are not all that interesting. That isn’t to say that they aren’t great books, it’s just my reading taste doesn’t seem to align with them.

So, I have found that so many of my favourite books are indie books! Whether they are from small publishers or self-published books there are so many books that I have fallen in love with that are incredible indie books.

This realization that I have been loving indie books and indie authors got me thinking about how I could shout from the rooftops that indie books are fantastic and more people should be reading them. So I came up with this series! In this series I am going to make a variety of posts all about indie books. From where to find them, to who to follow, this series will be all about celebrating and supporting the incredible authors who are self-publishing or being published by small independent presses.
