Character Names || #SixforSunday

Hello friends,

I am back with another #SixforSunday hosted by A Little But A Lot and we are into the march theme! March is Characters Ahoy! Today’s prompt is Characters I’d Name My Kids After, now let’s be honest, kids names are not my thing. So, instead I’m going to give you six character names I would give my plants (cause those are my real babies).

1. Taako (The Adventure Zone)

Is anyone shocked by this? I mean, really? I love The Adventure Zone and I have already named a plant Magnus, so why wouldn’t I name a plant after the most glamorous, hilarious, and famous wizard I know.

2. Locke Lamora (The Lies of Locke Lamora)

Again are you shocked? I will be honest that I’m cheating with this one. I’ve already named a plant Lamora but I don’t care. I’ll name plants Locke Lamora forever. There will always be a Locke in my house.

3. Jack (The Guardians)

Can you blame me? I’m obsessed with The Guardians books and The Rise of the Guardians movie! Jack Frost is definitely one of my favourite characters. I love him so much. So I will absolutely name a sassy, fun, cool plant after him.

4. Ripley (Lumberjanes)

I mean… Look at this cutie! I adore Ripley. She is so energetic and fun. She loves glitter and kittens and is just the most rambunctious little nugget. I love her immensely.

5. Rook (Havemercy)

Alright, Rook is a big dumby and so, so frustrating. But, he grew on me and I love his name. I mean he is so, frustrating, but he’s the kind of frustrating that you end up liking. Besides, his whole look is hecking incredible and if I had his kind of energy I would totally live my life like he does.

6. Nova (Mooncakes)

I LOVE HER NAME! She is also so dang cute and sweet. I just adore her immensely.

Which character names would you name a child/plant after?

Keeping reading,

    Hmm…good question. I’ll have to think on that, although I do have one plant named after a character. It’s a Palm Ponytail plant, and it’s shoots have reminded me of Stephanie in the Robert Munsch book “Stephanie’s Ponytail”.
