Winter Wonderland Book Tag

Hello friends,

In the last few weeks of winter here, I figured I’d finally get around to doing this Winter Wonderland Tag. It was created by Truffle Reads. So get ready for some winter themed questions and some good books.

What book is so happy and sweet that it warms your heart?

A Bridge to Love is just the cutest thing I’ve read. I read it at the end of last year and oh my did it give me all the warm and fuzzy feelings. If you want a cute little love story between a bridge troll and a wolf shifter this is the sweet story for you!

What’s your favourite books with a white cover?

I don’t actually read a lot of books with white covers, but of the few I have read I adored this one. It is a horror story set in an IKEA like store. I think there are some mixed feelings about this book, but I really enjoyed it. It was satirical and funny to start and then dropped into that creepy, nightmarish horror that I love so much.

You’re sitting in a nice, comfortable chair with a cup of hot chocolate. What monster book are you reading?

I haven’t read this one yet, but I am so excited to and it would be so nice to just sit by a fire and read this all night long.

It’s snowing outside and you decide you want to have a snowball fight. What fictional character do you want to have this snowball fight with?

I think Jack would be so much fun to have a snowball fight with! His whole deal is snow and fun and I mean, come on, he’s Jack Frost. He’d probably win but it would be a lot of fun.

Sadly, your campfire is dying. What last few chapters of a book would you throw in the fire to revive it and keep yourself warm?

This is definitely going to be a hot take and honestly I have two books for this one. First I am tossing Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst. The second book would be the entirety of Vicious. It was just completely not for me and all the hype didn’t help the situation.

What book do you love so much that you would buy another copy of it to give to someone as a Christmas gift (or any gift really) to inspire them to start reading?

This is my favourite book so far this year and I want everyone to read it. So yeah, I would buy it to give to people as a gift for sure.
